We Are Your Friends.

We love the pub. I mean, we really love the pub. If you ever need to find one of our group and they aren't at home, at university or with their significant other, then you can bet that they will be at The Orange Tree in Loughborough.

This is why we love it when our friend's band plays at events in this very venue.

Dodgy face and hair aside, I do love this photo. The blonde dork behind me is my manfriend

Unauthorised Absence and Candy Themed Dreams.

I'm am incredibly sorry for my lack of updates recently. Exam stress is getting the better of me but my last one is next week so fingers crossed until then!

This is what revision has done to me.

In an attempt to stop some of my bad habits, I am trying to stop biting my nails. I have done it ever since I was tiny and to be honest, i'm fed up with my nails constantly looking disgusting. So to help, I have been painting them a baby plue and candyfloss pink and alternating to keep it interesting and this is where my inspiration is coming from this summer I think.

I want lots of light, floaty, lacy pink and blue items and then some studs and leather to go over the top. Plus my hair is going back to candyfloss pink this summer and the new Jeffrey Campbell 'Lita's' will be mine.

Don't think I didn't hear the collective intake of breath then

Afterthought: After this Thursday there will be more timely posts, much less sporadic. I just need to get exams out of the way first.
Oh and there will be more outfits of my own up on here but I haven't had the time or mental capacity to take any, let alone to fiddle around with my camera attempting to get the memory card out.
Thankyou for comments guys, it means more then you will ever know; cookies are coming your way (literal, not internet haha...i'll just shut up now).

Another day, some more bag-lust.

Torrential rain has plagued my life today, it barely stopped. I'm so stressed about exams that i'm not sleeping and exhausted does not even cut it.
However, on the plus side, I got a very cute dress from Asda*. That makes me sound scabby but never fault a good dress brought to you at 'Asda price'. There will be pictures to come.

Now to make me feel infinitely better, I have been looking at the wonderful creations of one Mr. Alexander Wang. They certainly cheered me up, despite the fact that I do not have the funds to purchase anything he has laid his pretty hands on. One of my favourites at the moment, I would sell my soul, possibly my own mother, for the leopard print 'Diego'.

Don't get me wrong, I would sell my limbs for a pair of his shoes but the 'Diego' is something I have coveted for a long time now and if I get ever get enough money, I will hunt one down and make it mine (imagine a lioness in the savannah, I am the lioness, the bag is the gazelle, minus the blood it would be exactly the same).
If anyone out there in cyberspace has one spare, give it to me please?
I will do anything.

*FYI: Asda is a supermarket that sells the best clothes a supermarket has ever sold. Thankyou.

Wowza.

Now Katy Perry has been getting a lot of backlash for her MTV Movie Awards dress and hair combo from last Sunday. Personally I love it. I would kill small children for that dress and a body that would look that amazing in it and kudos for the cobalt blue hair. My number one pin-up next to Dita Von Teese, I applaud her for showing off what god gave her. If he had given me that,I might be into religion right now.

Dress by Zuhair Muhad
Shoes by Rock and Republic

I would say with rhinestones and glitter no girl could go wrong but then I saw Lindsay Lohan's jumpsuit disaster; Joan Jett would not approve of this in the slightest.

Maybe the SCRAM bracelet may have drawn attention away from the minor camel-toe?
Jumpsuit by Pamella Roland.

As for Kristin Stewart, her sour puss face was unusually not there and pulling off the best hair I have ever seen her walk the red carpet with. She almost looked, dare I say it? Pretty stunning? Although part of me thinks the dress is heinous, I think it might just have been ill fitting. The shoes are love though.

Katy gets my vote for best dressed everytime.
What do you think?

Non-Sunny Summers Day.

Now today was grey and that is the only way to describe it. It wasn't warm, it wasn't cold and I hated every second of it. When the weather is like that I try my best to not dress for the way I feel, else I would be wrapped in a black shroud. So I made an effort to reflect a more sunny attitude.

Channelling Alexa Chung, Fearne Cotton, Mary Kate Olsen and the gang was my aim, whether it worked or not is to be seen but I liked the result; even if i'm not a waif.

I have always been the kind of person that gravitates towards touching things rather than just looking. With clothes, texture takes precedent over colour, shape or structure; all of these following behind. I'm a leather and lace kind of girl; mixing the inexplicably feminine with the undoubtedly masculine. I'm all for pretty things with rough edges; that has always gone for people too. If it doesn't match, if it just shouldn't work but it just does, I will be there in a heartbeat.
