Bon Iver, Blue hair and Polka Dots.

Hello hello hello!
I suppose I should explain the title one by one really. Well here it goes: Bon Iver. Where to begin, there new album is fucking fantastic. Although they have been frequently played on Radio 1 for the past week or so, this isn't a recently formulated opinion. Although there is no 'skinny Love' on the self titled 'Bon Iver' there are some fantastically haunting lyrics and wonderful melodies. My favourites go to 'Holoscene', 'Perth' and 'Minnesota WI' and Calgary. Give it a shot and don't just right it off as falsetto folk; the lyrics mean so much more.

Blue hair: I'm dying my hair turquoise. I don't know why, I think is when the quite simple, to the point excuse of 'I just felt like it' actually flies. Never mistakenly think of it as a good excuse to your mothers question of 'why did you start smoking?'. In my adolescent years I preferred the nonchalant reply, to my dismay, my mother had too preferred it during her teenage years and the latter just meant that I tended to get a royal bollocking. On the other hand, I have done a strand test and all seems to be well.

Polka Dots: I love them. I don't know when this occurred but it has and now I have the pox (witty pun? no? me neither). I borrowed a blouse off a good friend the other day after a night of spontaneous drinking and Jurassic Park viewing. I love it and don't want to give it back to her.

In short, listen to Bon Iver, it will cleanse your soul. I like turquoise hair and polka dots are grand.
